Cabinet Resolutions No. 601 and No. 602: From 15 November, Liquefied Gas for Households Costs 5,000 Sum per kg, Needy Families Get 3,000 Sum per kg Back

The Cabinet of Ministers has set a new price for liquefied gas for households: from 15 November it will cost 5,000 sum per kilogram including VAT, up from 2,000. The state will compensate part of the cost for families in need.

The rules are set out in Cabinet Resolutions No. 601 and No. 602 of 31 October 2026. Resolution No. 602 took effect on the day of adoption, and the new price applies from 15 November 2026.

Price and delivery

  • the retail price for households is 5,000 sum per kg including VAT (previously 2,000);
  • the maximum delivery fee that LPG-Trade charges households is 1,300 sum per kg including VAT;
  • the state will cover economically justified delivery costs with budget subsidies.

Who receives compensation

Compensation is 3,000 sum for each kilogram purchased, capped at 20 kg per month (up to 60,000 sum). Payments will continue until 1 January 2030. The money goes to a social card after the fuel purchase is confirmed.

  • families in the Social Registry;
  • families who meet the Registry criteria but are not yet listed: average income per person of no more than twice the minimum consumer expenditure;
  • families raising orphans or children without parental care.

What this means in practice. From 15 November, gas will cost 2.5 times more. If your family is in the Social Registry or meets its criteria, check your status in advance: compensation is paid only after the purchase is confirmed. Everyone else should budget for higher heating and cooking costs.
