Cabinet Resolution No. 557: business census runs 15 October – 30 November 2026, legal entities submit data themselves at hisobot.stat.uz

A business census is under way in Uzbekistan. It covers all active economic units: legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, dehkan farms and self-employed persons. Legal entities must submit their data themselves on the online portal.

The procedure for the census was approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 557 of 9 October 2026. The census runs from 15 October to 30 November 2026.

Who is covered and how to take part

• The census covers legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, dehkan farms, self-employed persons and units operating without registration.
• Legal entities submit data themselves via hisobot.stat.uz.
• Self-employed persons use census.stat.uz.
• In addition, registrars visit economic units at their actual place of activity. Interviews are held from 9:00 to 18:00.

Verification, confidentiality and results

• Within ten days after the census ends, a selective check covers up to 5% of registered units.
• Respondents' data is confidential and used for statistical purposes only.
• A call centre answers questions at the short number 1851.
• The National Statistics Committee will publish the final results on its website by 1 September 2027.

Reports on the resolution do not mention any liability for non-participation.

What this means in practice. If your company is a legal entity, submit its data at hisobot.stat.uz by 30 November 2026 without waiting for a registrar's visit. Self-employed persons use census.stat.uz. Make sure the details on activity, staff and address are accurate, since a selective check is possible. For questions, call 1851.
