From 1 October 2026, drinking water and sewerage will cost more in Tashkent region. The Tashkent Regional Council of People's Deputies approved new tariffs for two operators, JSC Toshkent viloyati suv taʼminoti and JSC Chimgan-Chorboq magistral suv taʼminoti, by a decision of 16 September 2026.
For households served by JSC Toshkent viloyati suv taʼminoti, the price per cubic metre including VAT will rise as follows:
Excluding VAT, the rates are UZS 3,100 and UZS 1,500 per cubic metre.
Rates for budget organisations and wholesale consumers have been revised proportionally.
The decision takes effect 15 days after official publication. Its text is published on the E-qaror portal of local council decisions.
What this means in practice. Residents and organisations in the region should prepare in advance.
- Record your water meter readings at the end of September and keep a photo — it will help in any dispute over which tariff was applied to water used before the increase
- If a bill looks higher than expected, start with a written complaint to the operator
- Businesses and budget organisations should recalculate their fourth-quarter utility budgets
